A slow but extremely useful overnite train serving the Konkan region of Maharashtra ,, was long due for capacity augmentation...
Very true, it is the only Express train to serve small stations like SVX, AVRD, NAN & VEER. Also the only train which has General Quota for Ratnagiri-Mumbai travelers.
There is a scope for speeding-up this train in UP direction where it has to face 2 overtakes unnecessarily.
It can depart SWV at 20:45 to reach DR at 06:45.

Great news. Considering that Dadar can only accommodate max 19 coaches good to see augmentation. Very good overnite train from Konkan till Mumbai
Even with current departure time, it can easily reach Dadar before KK...
