hello!! after long time there came the day of journey well ! i was nervous because of the route and plz dont mind U.P people but the truth is if ranked in the world u will come first from the bottom on terms of cleaniness, well i suppose do up people have worst hygine conditions, anyway to my surprise the train 0939 summer special was real special till i traveled to lucknow the train was on time, late only by minutes not by hours, So i gave 5 stars to the indian railway, well we indians have a mentality of always criticizing, but truly well done indian railways, for being so alert and making our travel safe and on time.

Sir,
For ur information, i havnt find clean & hygenic train throughout India!!
Cleanliness depends on:
1. Journey: Overnight Trains are always cleaner & most Guj/ADI trains are overnight, while any train running from UP/Bihar towards Guj/ADI is having long run. But still, u have Tapti-Ganga very much cleaner
2.
...
Cleaning Facility Enroute: LKO/CNB rarely offer enroute cleaning facility, while JHS does. But JHS is much more involved in Main-Line trains, rather than bye-passing train towards ADI/GKP
3. Track Condition: Sigle & Cnjested route in between JHS-CNB makes train late & so cleanliness enroute get affects (as staff has to be pre-planned according to train schedule)
4. Train Type: SPL Trains always has bad record in terms of run/cleanliness!! Only overnight SPL Trains are having higher chance of cleanliness!!!
5. Gentry: Here i do believe that gentry too define trains' cleanliness, which is true PAN India!!!
6. Train Count: Less train against demand, are always crowdy, making it tough to maintain cleanliness!!
PS: LKO MAIL, PRAYAGRAJ EXPRESS, SHIVGANGA, RIVA, KAIFIYAT, SAMPOORNA KRANTI, SWANTRATA SAINANI, TAPTI-GANGA, LKO/ALD DRNTO, VAISHALI, SAPT KRANTI, MUSSURIE EXP, PUSHPAK, UDYOG NAGRI, MARUDHAR, ,,, ,,, ,..............
The list goes on, in which many trains are class apart

Dear Sir,
thanx for your reply, i hve mostly traveled from gujarat to mumbai, the trains are well maintained and perfect to travel even in 2nd class sleeper, so looking to that i just felt that i have traveled certain times in this train, from sleeper to 2AC, seeking some cleanness but all in vain, I even tried to tell them that they have to spend a lot of time in here, but they do not understand, why I dont know not only people from U.P but bihar is bigger blunder i think they have never seen cleanness, and asking them to throw the eatables outside can put you in deep pain Since they think railway is there property and they have

every right to treat it there way. Even educated people dont care for cleaniness.

MY Dear Friend....
You seem to have a fixed and rigid bent of mind. Recently I went to one of the towns of Bihar, for business purpose. And every conventional knwledge I had seemed to be biased, prejudiced. Cleanliness is less visible in lower strata of society, got nothing to do with demography. Might be, there are more lower strata band in Bihar. North East Trains are also a mess, and so is South Indian...but that doesn't have to mean that people do not know cleaniless over there!
