GMDN is not required at all. 12828 was the best intercity train of Adra division till 2010 after which it entered into political discussion. No Girimaidan, Ondagram etc during those days. ADRA-MDN section had mps of 80 kmph and it roared then. Fast forward to present day 110 kmph the TT is still the old one. End to end travel time never decreased.
Yes . I think also that Girimaidan not required now because Hwh-Mdn Section is now under Suburban Railway & Girimaidan is only 2.2 km away from KGP .
