yeah. News seen on TV (NEWS9 & NewsNation Channels) that Occupancy in Trains today was very low & Local residents are seeing Railways as evil now. There is a panic among All Kashmiris that their Lands & Daughters will be snatched away from them. Only People of Jammu Katra Amarnath & Ladakh Regions are happy with govt. decision. Rest population of Kashmir are in heavy Panic Mode.

What I said. Jammu Katra Amarnath & Ladakh Regions are happy & normal.
Especially in Jammu, Katra & Ladakh Normal Bus Services have started.
IR now should focus on NLDM-Manali-Leh Railway Project & leave Banihal Katra Railway project until normal conditions prevails

Yes, service is for public only to avail. And if there is distrust for the service among people itself then why to waste resources

Mostly in tribes/remote villages there is a myth that if their town/village is more accessible by humans whom they don't know, will increase loot, theft etc.
At some extent it is true but when the whole earth is being scratched by human and its so called development programs, either we should fully mould ourselves according to world or oppose with full effort. Being intermediate is not a solution.
And reality is that every change has been opposed in the world.

I remember the time when government had decided to construct a road to link my village with NH which was just at 3kms from my village. But all the villagers opposed the decision and it has been 17 year still we don't connectivity with that highway. Why? The same fear of loot, theft, wine smuggling etc. Now they think it would be better if we get the connectivity with NH. Why this happened? What thing changed thoughts of villagers?
Because now well frog has come to know that there is a big world and frogs like me are also there, even in more numbers and they are noty enemy. They are more civilized than me. More food and medical facilities.
