It is very clear that CR Pune Division does not want to run Pune-Belagavi Janshatabdi by giving such reasons which are not correct. Earlier CR also stopped the Extension of Belagavi-Miraj passenger trains upto Sangli by giving the reason that Belagavi-Miraj-Sangli route is congested. While the fact is that Pune-Sangli-Belagavi route has the lowest utilization in Indian railway. Hardly, 8 daily express trains, few passengers and few goods trains run on Pune-Sangli-Miraj-Belagavi route. People have been demanding Pune-Belagavi Janshatabdi exp since last 20 years, but due to such reports by CR, this train could not be started. CR has not allowed to connect Belagavi with Sangli and Pune by direct convenient trains till now. Now, Belagavi has got MOSR Shri Suresh Angadi and we are sure that he will start Pune-Belagavi Janshatabdi and also he will extend Belagavi-Miraj passenger trains upto Sangli. People are sure that...

MoSR has mentioned by Jan-2020. This is in account of current by-polls code of conduct and they have alternate plan after that. It will start at-least as triweekly with PM at Hubballi, if CR is not ready for daily.
Its all pvt transportation mafia stopping it seems. Lets see what RM will do now.
He is against the mafia so far, that is why we got new trains, Bgm-Sbc SF, Bjp-Ypr spl, Bjp-Majn spl, Sme-Mas/Ru/Mys, etc. we are sure, he will deal with interstate and inter-zone issues also.
More power to him, North karnataka highly neglected in railway transportation. Hope it improves and helps many.
