getting tatkal ticket online still a nightmare for many. despite of ircts claim of improvement of capacities of servers. i have suggestions for railway that prs booking for tatkal to be stopped completely as it creates much pain for passengers to get the token in first come first serve basis. examples of whole night waiting and to overcome touts is very common phenomenon for general passengers. I suggest to change of tatkal booking timing for each train to be changed to 24hours before of the schedule departure time from originating station for that particular train. so that server load will be distributed accordingly . hope this idea will be helpful for passengers to solve getting tatkal tickets
I think IR is not bothered about increasing capacity of servers. Look at companies like FB and how many parallel connections they are allowing. But, think you have a valid suggestion
