In these 2 projects there was a clause that atleast 1 member from each family who give land for this project will get Railway job. But Railways could not give jobs to all families who gave land for this project. As a result people started protesting in Nandigram new line project, Court cases ran for years many families filed cases against Railways. Some work on Nandigram projecrt progressd also in the mean time, few Bridges, Nandigram station , platform, fob all works were completed but Railways SER forced to close this project. Same happened in Bagnan-Amta route also where few works started but Railways could not give jobs to all land givers. So, protest started and balance land could not be acquired. This project was slso scrapped by RB and SER. But in between IR lossed many money..
