Mumbai Madgaon is Not Possible Due to The Tunnel Heights enroute
Not possible between Mumbai Madgaon because of the large no of tunnels. A DD rake is very difficult to pass thru it because of its height and tunnel radius . I had heard even the LHBs had a few problems in this route during trial runs.
Then is it Possible for a Double Decker Express Between Mumbai And Solapur Service like Mumbai Ahmedabad Which completes it's Both Journeys the Same Day??
From where did you hear about the problems with LHB in Mumbai Madgaon route?
I heard it in a news column which said " In their testing phase in the KR route, LHB coaches were found have scratches from the tunnel... " I will post the same as soon as I catch hold of it..
