Amazing ALCO! Terrific Chugging! Mesmerizing Horn! MGS till ET by Patna-LTT Superfast Exp (Jan 2000) : This video should be a treat for ALCO lovers since it has all the essential ingredients - WDM2 chugs, twin-tone honking, uneven idling. My first trip in a limited-halt superfast from Varanasi/Mughalsarai to Mumbai turned to be memorable for a number of reasons. One of them was the loco in charge - WDM2 #18473 from Itarsi shed. It was a royal chugger with a mesmerizing twin-tone horn. Since my 2AC coach was third from the loco, I was treated to amazing ALCO sounds throughout the night.
