There is just one privatised train that too not generating enough profit. Now they want privatise 150 more trains. Then what whole network. Looks like they want to turn IRCTC into Amtrak which itself failed

Good decision.. if punctuality and time table is good along with better facilities then passengers are happy to travel.

For your understanding IR will not privatise the existing g trains and will continue to run trains in existing and new locations as per the fares of IR . additional trains will be put on track by private companies in high density routes with cap on max pricing and inceryainky these will be premium trains or full AC trains making use of upgraded infrastructure and freight shifting to DFC in Mumbai Delhi Kolkatta routes.
