Senior citizen concession to public roadways/waterways me bhi milta hai...yes quota reduce karna alag baat hai par totally end nahi kiya ja sakta bcoz directive principles of state policy me senior citizen/disabled concession ka mention hai.
Railway ko itna hi paisa bachane ka hai to netao ke no. of free travels per year ko reduce kare...utna nahi to kam se kam unke spouse ka free travel curb kare..conveyance allowance to milta hi hai unko bhi

Yes, agree that funds saved will be less but ye public ko subsidy cut ke liye prepare karne ke liye moral messaging ka kaam karega.
In principle, jaisa ki upar bataya govt cann't completely eliminate senior citizen concession in any public travel mode bcoz its against state directive principles,,it can only reduce the quanta
