Indian railways to increase freight and all passenger fares including suburban by 15-20% or 5-40 Paisa Per Km.

See railways is the transport used by poorest of the poor people in India if the price is increased revenue will definetly go for a toss.Especially if UR/GEN rates are increased at such a high rate suddenly
On my note we shouldn't compare a flight with a train both are largely different a flight gives you seater travel while a train will give you sleeper with food (in case of raj and duronto)
Moreover if you want to compare 1 ac 2ac with flight and then compare with business not economy
