Patratu - Barkakana section doubling in full swing from the perspective of more than 1 hour late running Shaktipunj Express. New ballast and new platform under construction can be seen. It is requested to update this stretch as 'electrification + doubling' in IRI atlas as only single electrified line is operational from Patratu to Barkakana as of today.

Very happy to see this section improving . Now I hope the sectional speed will be increased in future & trains will run much faster . Now its high time that ECR should concentrate on finishing SGRL - CPU - GHD doubling work asap.
Sectional speed of GHD - Patratu was really impressive...Despite, ghats, gradients and turns, 11447 was maintaining 80 - 100 km/h throughout the run...BRKA - DHN section needs to be improved as it's sectional speed is quite low...
