Little Error. During Our Childhood , Darjeeling Mail Used To Depart With E-Loco From SDAH And There Used To Be Loco Change At BWN.... It Was Same In Case Of Kanchanjungha Express
yes in late 1970s when 1 was a child it used to be steam loco also, became diesel in 1979,
kanchenjunga started in 1982 between howrah and njp loco change at bwn.
darjeeling mail then had number 43 up then it became 3143 when it became superfast at the turn of current century and number chnged to 2343 stoppages reduced and became all diesel.
