Pics from my recent journey in 12394 Patna SK (Last pic clicked at PNBE)..Train was very well maintained..Most of the AC coaches were 2019 made..Food was average..SK,better known for speed since day 1 yet again ripped apart track of NCR..Encountered heavy fog in ECR due to which it arrived PNBE at 08:16 (Delayed by 90 mins).
As usual we departed from PF-16 of New Delhi on time..Train was fully packed with not a single seat empty..8-10 passengers were booked for MZP and rest whole train was booked for Patna..At CYZ,train stopped suddenly and halted there for 10 mins..God knows what happened there as 12310-12436 were well ahead..Further someone pulled chain at ALJN and RPF came into action..As a result,we lagged behind and...

12436 Jaynagar GR made a gap of 60-65 kms which was blessing in disguise for SK..Train ran madly in ALJN-TDL,TDL-PNKD sections and after CNB as well in order to reduce the gap with 12436..Overtook 12368 Vikramshila at Bharwari which waited for further 20 mins for us after getting Overtaken by 12436..Must be frustrating for the passengers of VS..Woke up in the morning just to be greeted by dense fog..Train was proceeding cautiously towards Patna at around 70 km/hr..Finally chased 12436 and arrived Patna at 08:16 on PF-3 (12436 departed at 08:20 from PF-2).
