is the quick electrification status as of Jan 5,2020:-
All lines of Thanjavur are wired. Even Tiruvaraur line completely wired also CRS on 31st Jan,2020. Signs of Poles Pits can be seen at Titte. From Sundaraperumal Kovil till Mayiladuthurai 80% Pole Pits are laid. Also at Kumbakonam Pole Pits are spotted on either Platforms. At Sundaraperumal Kovil, Aduthurai, Kuthalam FOB construction started. Also at Kuthalam Portals are kept aside.
Wiring done till Mayiladuthurai Outer. Mayiladuthurai-Tiruvarur line fully wired. Full Stretch b/w Mayiladuthurai-Cuddalore are wired including Kollidam Bridge!! At Pudhuchattiram, line diverging towards Powerplant is not wired, Poles with Clamps are laid. At Cuddalore, Traction Substation and Tower Wagon Shed works can be seen!!
