Watch this video for the updates of Wadi - Solapur Line doubling & Electrification. Almost 80% of the total doubling work of Daund - Wadi section is completed.
Here are some highlights of the work:-
1. WADI - KALBURAGI line is completely doubled & Electrified and is operation for running trains.

KALBURAGI - SAWALGI section is doubled and OHE poles are placed till Sawalgi Railway Station.
3. SAWALGI - GAUDGAON section Doubling is still under progress and is expected to be completed by Dec 2020.
4. GAUDGAON - KULALI section track laying is completed and Interlocking is still pending.
5. KULALI - DUDHANI section track laying is completed and Interlocking work is expected to be completed by March 5, 2020.
6. DUDHANI - BOROTI section is completely doubled and CRS inspection successfully completed on Feb 25, 2020 with a permissible speed of 110 km/hr.
7. BOROTI - SOLAPUR section is completely doubled and operational for running trains.
8. OHE(Overhead Electric) poles are placed in BOROTI - TILATI section.
