Few minutes Before time running 12042 NJP HWH Shatabdi Express (mps 130kmph) is controlled at Khana Jn. for 7 mins to give precedence to 12024 PNBE HWH Janshatabdi Express (mps 110kmph). This is a very common controlling strategy of maintaining slot & Howrah division always provides priority to 12024, even more than Dn Rajdhani trains (in some cases observed).

I was once in 12306 hoping to catch 12024 at JSME but 12024 overtook 12306 at KWO. I wasted my money since I already booked the ticket.😍 It gets huge patronage in both ER and ECR. Overtakes 12260,12274(if late@PNBE),12042,. But when it gets late (3+hrs) is overtaken by all SF/ME trains.
