I really wish they could. But if there is a crowd, it would really become difficult. While bus routes cold be arranged for direct home to work connecting in between -- something like school buses, it is not that easy logistically for Metro. As my friends put it, it is not easy to manage freighters even when passenger trains are not running, same would be with staff special Metros. Pls get used to buses. Easy to manage on empty roads and fixed stops to either pick up or drop staff.
buses would also suffice; just there is one lacunae. No one knows their time table, and they never follow any partcular route or timing or interval between two services. its more of alike a blind date. You can get a empty bus within minutes of your requirement or you could get stranded for hours.
If delhi govt manages this issue well , then no problem.

I do hope they will. There won't be any services on standard routes, only special routes to ferry essential staff to work and back. Like they'll find 10-12 people working in your hospital on same schedule and a common route bus will run on your timings something BEST is doing here. No crowding. LOL, today I saw a few cops monitoring a grocery store queue while the mobile van that passed ordered the cops to maintain distance between themselves on their loud speaker. Hope things will be fine soon, till then it is a tough task for everyone.
