Experimenting in unfamiliar routes now. Check out my speeded up version of The Kanchanjunga Express which currently has an Avg speed of 41 Kmph and takes 38 hrs for 1551 kms.
-I have bought it down to 32.5 hrs for now because I am not sure of the speeds in the Guwahati - Lumding - Agartala route(Actually not familiar with the whole section, suggestions from locals and experts will be very helpful to explore the speeds in this route). I think speedup is possible in NJP Lumding section but again if anyone can help me it will be a delight. Apparently trains are very slow in that section.

No Idea on MPS But Hojai - Lumding is Double Now, So u can atleast Speed Up by 30Mins Here, Also 40-45Mins Speed Up Possible post New Haflong
