Even they said, this service will be stopped from june 6. But still its running and the other passenger trains which were running previously in the metre gauge line are yet to be introduced for passenger's usage. This only passenger train serves only for the people of Vellore district only and not to people of villupuram and Thiruvannamalai district. Moreover the new trains announced in the new budget is still seems to be a question mark.
Really very shame ,there is no passenger train to tiruvannamalai from chennai and bangalore
all the trains announced in this budget via this route introduced simultaneously from july 1st.mannargudi-tirupati tri weekly express(wed,fr,sun) villupuram-katpadi passenger(daily) puducherry-tirupati passenger(daily) puducherry-dadar express(tri weekly) rameswaram-tirupati express (tri weekly)
katpadi-villupuram passenger is addition from already running train or not?
Still I am spending more than Rs.400 every week to travel from Bangalore to Thirukoilur, that too in bus - sitting. If atleast one train is introduced via Thirukoilur, vellore to Bangalore, it will be more beneficial to thousands of public.
1. Except the T.No.56882, all other passenger trains are yet to be opened up for public usage.
2. Earlier in this same metre gauge line, there was train from Thiruvannamalai to Chennai Tambaram Fast Passenger service and meenakshi Express runs 7 days a week. But the southern railway new timetable doesnot boast any info of these two.
3. T.No.56881 being announced in new timetable will never serve the people for those who wants to go chennai by Pallavan SF Express. The train 56881 will reach Villupuram by 09.15. If it reaches by...
