MTM- VSKP - MTM Passenger can be made express and extended up to palasa or Ichchapuram.
Bro understand one point KK is built for iron ore handling and cargo has highest importance then passenger traffic. Even after zone formation the same will continue. Only Vskp Araku day train will be introduced to cater to tourist demand. Most travellers who visit Vizag stay here and visit Araku or go for a night stay in Araku. So there is no use of running or extending trains there except giving one more train.
Yes Mr Anish , Visakhapatnam-Borra Caves-Araku-Koraput-Jagdalpur-Dantewada-NMDC Kirandul is superb hit for sightseeing as well as transportation of world's best high density iron ore from NMDC Bailadilla Mines. Now Vistadome Coach is also attached to Kirandul Passenger for journey b/w Vizag znd Araku. Sightseeing views are at its best along this line of tunnels and hills. Now generally three WAG 9 are provided to wagons of iron ore. An overnight express train b/w Visakhapatnam and Jagdalpur is also introduced last year and this year's IRTTC mentioned the extension of Vizag-Rayagada-Koraput pass to Jagdalpur. This Passenger also give spectacular views of tunnels and hills between Rayagada and Koraput corridor of NALCO. Both these lines give lifetime spectacular sightseeing views. So every railfan can consider these routes.
Is there any pitline facilities on either of the two stations? I don't think extension would be a good idea.
