Introduced as the 1031/32 weekly 'Gyan Ganga' express between Pune and Varanasi from March 5th, 1996.
By 1999, it was running as a bi-weekly express.
In the 2001-02 budget, it was extended to Darbhanga on one of its runs every week. The extended service was renumbered to 11033/34.

Inaugural run is different from first run in that if inauguration ceremony usually takes place at one end itself. Most probably at CR/Pune in this case , so for both up and down trains, same date (05/03)will apply. For first run, two separate dates for up and down may be updated
Usually if I have the timetables available, and if I know the exact day of first run from each end, I update the exact day.
If I do not have information about the first run, I update the same date for both Up and Dn trains.
I am fine with either approach. If the other monitors think that we should update the same date for both Up and Dn trains, then I can go ahead and change all the inaugural dates I added.
