well, to be frank enough, i am not of the view that increasing stops lead to loss of prestige. as far as a train's timetable is not disturbed,the stoppage holds fine for me. though this is going off topic but i dont think even u ll agree that gt is less prestigious than tn, or hwh mas mail is less prestigious than coromandal or even august kranti rajdhani is less prestigious than bct ndls rajdhani...

Agree but GT does a better job in pulling away from station or picking up passengers. Coro is prestigous but getting tkt is tough in mail.
Everybody will appreciate benz but people buy SWIFT only :P

Well! My point is the habit of increasing halts for premier trains should not be encouraged. Now wait and see. Other stations will demand halt for this train.
