Oil fired Steam Locomotive "X 37396" hauled 56137 Udagamandalam (Ooty)- Mettupalayam Passenger departs Coonoor Railway station.
This is the only train across Indian Railway's network which has a Diesel to Steam Locomotive change.
The Ooty-Mettupalayam section is also called as Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR). In July 2005, UNESCO added the NMR as an extension to the World Heritage Site of Darjeeling Himalayan Railways (DHR).
This section comes under Salem Division of Southern Railways.
