LHB inspection coaches have 'transition couplers' (A combined CBC and screw coupler) like all locomotives. They can be attached to both CBC and non-CBC coaches.

This type of LHB Inspection coach they will have buffer and CBC coupler unlike normal LHB where Buffer will not there except in EOG. In EOG also there buffer will be there where 'X' mark will be there. And also for CBC coupler type coupling system both Screw and CBC coupler train can be attached
