Double Decker would also soon be switched on to Elctric traction from February's first Friday, but claims came wrong and it ran with Diesel Locomotive. Who knew that it had to happen the day i was onboard. the next run after Friday was on Sunday, i.e. our journey day. I approached the loco to see EMD or ALCO when i couldn't beleive my eyes it was WAP1 with front panto all set for departure. I was disheartened to see WAP1 although but happy at same time. We had awesome priority, we where 30 mins late at DDilawarnagar and early at Moradabad by 10 mins doing a nubd blowing performance WAP1 won my hearts maintaining a healthy moving avg of 75km/hr on an 100 MPS section.
