I have traveled in the 17311 Chennai Vasco quite a few times now from Chennai to Bangalore. This was the first time I missed the Vivek Express crossing by a slight margin. A Tiruttani bound EMU departed slightly ahead of me and raced ahead while accelerated towards Katpadi. Vivek Exp was already proceeding towards Renigunta while we went past. It was closely followed by Bengaluru Agartala Humsafar, which coincidentally is the longest Humsafar Exp of IR.
