Located in between Tenali and Vijaywada ( while going towards Mangalagiri from Tenali).
Circar Express is the only daily running train through this station in both directions from Kakinada Port to Chengalpattu (17644) and back (17643).

Dr.MGR Chennai Central - Vijayawada - Dr. MGR Chennai Central, Jan shatabdi Super Fast Express runs every day in a week except on Tuesday through this station.
Other trains passes through this station are, Andaman Express (MAS-SVDK), Gomti sagar Express (MAS-LJN), Double Decker Express (VSKP-TPTY), Special Fare Special (VSKP-TPTY) are few other trains pass through (stops @) New Guntur on both directions.
A meter gauge railway crane can be seen at the entrance of station.
Advance reservation counter is available at this station.
Washrooms are not in use.
