They simply dont have hindi in their blood! Whatever that means!!! (I'm not saying this. Not my words either) Tamil politicians have been saying it. Now it seems that they suddenly found English (sent back in 1947) names need corrections!! All of them numbering over 1000!
Hindi opposition has been the manifesto of chief Dravidian political parties like DMK for long (since 1960s).
These changes they say are an effort to restore the damage caused by Britishers by simplifying and renaming the original Dravidian names as they found it difficult to pronounce them.
Intentions may be right but the timing is certainly wrong
