Plus patronage is not upto the mark as is required.
So was wondering to optimise rake availability, why can't IR consider extension of this Duronto till Chennai via Nalgonda - Guntur - Ongole.

As it's full AC train occupancy will not improve much moreover it doesnt run in the demand days in any direction. It runs from SC to Chennai in daytime in both directions and will provide occupancy between MAS and SC as well adding to more sectional losses. To provide connectivity to Pune Mumbai it should be a biweekly from Gudur using the slot of CCT LTT from Gnt. The present Duronto timings need to be changed to 2000 in both sides and run on Su Th from SC and Mo and Fr from LTT. There will not be much demand in between week days for one more run for a full AC train.even now its running with 80% occupancy and with flexi fare. and full during seasons.
