Even in South Sanskrit is widely used, telugu is 90%Sanskrit, if u know Sanskrit it's equivalent of knowing Telugu, We use a lot of Sanskrit unknowingly in our daily language. N people still say abrupt things about it. It's just removal of a language n that too a one which is not of Indian origin, these people r making such a mockery of, it just means that, they're unable to digest that the originality is being brought back. Muslims in Most of the Southern states except for Telangana don't majorly use urdu, neither do they try understanding it (saying it based on personal experience). It's just they wanna promote it as their communal being.
