If Braganza ghats are not capable to bear the load of 24 coaches train, then instead of giving excuses, SWR should develop the section and should also develop the Vasco Da Gama station as a premier world-class terminal station.

I think the freight earnings will go down now as some mines and things are now closed in Uttar Karnataka, as told by a member. So I think its high time SWR should think upon earning more revenues from more passenger trains. The point is not for doubling, but my point is the development of the same single ghat line. It's alright if doubling is not done considering the "socio-political" pressure, but at least track and station sidings (catch sidings) should be developed, so that 24 coaches train could be run and could be looped for crossings.
