As per contract between IR and BR, Indian loco and crew is to haul the Maitree express upto Darsana of Bangladesh.From Darsana, Bangladesh loco and crew will take over for the rest of the journey and vice versa. It will need International agreement change for an eloco to haul Maitree upto Gede and hand over to BR loco.
