which daily travellers of Balasore miss out on these passenger trains. Due to this kind of differences between these zones, new rail line projects are getting delayed. Just see the development made by ECoR towards its new lines within Odisha and compare it with the status of SER proposed new lines in Odisha. Also, Students/graduates/candidates from Balasore-Baripada areas who wish to join railways, they fill for RRB BBS, not for RRB Kolkata, even though their home stations lie in SER, they prefer ECoR because they know by ECoR they will get Odisha posting.

Similarly, ECoR is having Vizag in its jurisdiction but it's in another state (linguistic-cultural difference), and the people of Vizag dream and aspire for being a part of a totally new zone.
