Seeing Kakinada & Cuttack case in IR.
1. Kakinada Kotipalli Line ends in Kakinada. Need 3 Bridges on Godavari River between Kotipalli & Narsapur for a Rail Connection. Currently Trains running through Godavari Bridge at Kovvur Rajamundry.
2. Cuttack byepass line via Naraj has A Bridge on Mahanadi River. But to shorten Rail distance 4 Rail Bridges on Mahanadi & Its Tributaries were made.

Hence Kotipalli Narsapur Railway line must be made to shorten distance between VSKP & BZA to 333 kms from current 350 kms.

Its a Co-incidence that Both Mahanadi & Godavari Branches of in Exactly shape at Cuttack & at Rajamundry. See Google Map & spread of Mahanadi after Cuttack & spread of Godavari after Rajamundry.
