Upasana exp already runs with 17 coaches. Sometimes during summer rush, an extra SL is given making it 18 coacher

Dehradun express starts from Bdts with 16coach & at Haridwar 4(or 5) coaches were deattach foe the rest of journey till DDN.
After remodelling, NR states that deattaching is not necessary so full 16 coach train will complete it's journey. But then come this pandemic.

Yes true even DDN SHTBDI runs with 12 CC, 2 EC, 2 generator can coaches regularly.
