7 warning signs of heart disease ... Better not to ignore them, but see a doctor!
Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide, taking millions of lives every year, far exceeding that of all cancers and HIV infections.
As you get older, your risk of heart disease increases significantly. Also at risk are people who are overweight, who smoke, eat junk food and abuse alcohol.

of the warning signs of heart disease are mistaken by many for minor inconvenience. Although the presence of one of these signs may not accurately signal heart problems, the occurrence of persistent cough and chest pain may indicate an impending heart attack.

If you have any of the following symptoms, you should seek medical attention:
1. Pain in the chest and shoulder.
Chest pain, especially on the left side, near the heart, is a sign of a potential impending heart attack. This pain is caused by the destruction of cells in the heart muscle.
Sometimes the tension and stiffness in the heart can be so painful that the pain can spread to the shoulder. Particular attention should be paid to slow and progressive shoulder pain.

2. Snoring and difficulty sleeping.
Snoring and sleep difficulties such as insomnia and apnea (stopping breathing for a few seconds during sleep) are directly related to cardiovascular disease.

Temporary cessation of breathing during sleep makes you wake up from suffocation, leads to intermittent sleep, which creates additional stress on the heart.

Apnea indicates high blood pressure, stroke, arrhythmias, and heart failure.

3. Arrhythmia (uneven heartbeat).
Arrhythmias may indicate heart failure or an impending heart attack. High blood pressure and blockages in the coronary arteries are the main causes of abnormal heart rhythms.

Also, uneven heartbeat can occur with age. Over time, the heart begins to weaken, which can lower the heart rate.

4. Pain in the jaw and gums, difficulty in the mouth.
The oral cavity contains many bacteria, and the gums contain a large number of blood vessels.

A small wound in the gums is enough to carry bacteria into the circulation, through which infection can reach all parts of the body, including the heart.

5. Swollen legs and feet.
Disruption of blood circulation to the heart can lead to thick blood, and in severe cases, cardiac arrest is possible. This condition can be detected by swollen legs and feet, especially at the end of the working day.

6. Dizziness and fainting.
Dizziness and fainting can signal poor circulation in the brain, which is the main cause of stroke and heart attack.

Also, dizziness can be caused by heart failure or high blood pressure.

7. Frequent cough.
If the heart does not provide normal circulation, blood can enter the air sacs in the lungs. This will cause frequent coughing and shortness of breath.
