This train should convert into SF and divert via Miraj so that 2 loco reversal can avoided.

My mistake that i made detailing of 16587 instead of this train!!
Existing SF for UBL-PUNE via Miraj & their recovery makes them SF, which is not possible for this train, even if you run it via Miraj!!
Its just 1.5 hrs slower to Goa/SJ SF & if you recover that run, you will decrease 60 Kms (which will not make any impact on its total run)!!

Most of the slack for this train seems to be in GDG-SUR section.. since MPS is 85/90 for most of the section, I guess thats why the slack. I think speed up is possible once doubling is done and MPS is raised to 100 atleast..
Such a major route diversion just to avoid a loco reversal is too much.
As for the train using a longer route, it was introduced in that route after considering all factors, like demand and operational feasibility. Unless any of those change, there is no reason to divert it.

Already 2 reversals are eliminated in TAAG 2020
Going via patan instead of palanpur

You cant expect more than 1 Hr speed up, as most slack include LR (just 10 Mins isnt enough at UBL/GDG)!!
It may need 5 Hr time reduction to be a SF & if compared via Mirag, its hardly 1:40 Hrs slower then the fastest one...any of the route will not make it convert into SF!!
