| An Unforgettable Journey |
Chapter -2
Rural Karnataka
27-04-2018,post 14:30 hrs
(Long one again)
Woke
...
up somewhere near Tiptur and was just glued to the window, the Yeswantpur-Hubballi Line was a new route for me.Experienced the rural Karnataka.Loved the scenes, the rapid transformation of vegetation filled scenery into arid lands soon, those were new for me.Then reached Arsikere around 15:00 hrs.Went to the door and got some fresh air.Slowly started moving out of Arsikere and the landscape starting changing again and again throughout the journey! Then this beautiful thing happened,a bunch of kids started to play in my coach,so cute ❤️ They were running and climbing the ladders and were playing without making any noise :)
Post Birur, there was an unscheduled halt at Chikjajur, almost for 10 mins.Got out of the coach and got some fresh air again, the AC was damn cool man. When I got into my bay,the Rockstar of SWR AKA 12080 Hubballi-KSR Bengaluru Jan Shatabdi arrived with 20067 KJM WDP-4 at helm.Departed from Chikjajur and sped towards Davangere, the city famous for it's benne masala dose :D
After a long time, got to see a city or atleast a town kind of landscape between the Davengere-Harihar Twin cities.I still remember seeing an exhibition going on there in a big ground, with a big giant wheel :D The sight was just spectacular in the sunset time!Jump to two years from then, can't even think of something now.Slowly as time went, visibility went down as it become dark outside. The kids near my bay were actually twins and they found another twins in the same coach and Aww😍Those innocent faces playing was just so cute!
In the meanwhile, was looped at Haveri around 19:45 hrs.The 56912 Hubballi-Bangalore Passenger was on the other side and the Siddhganga Express halted at Haveri and overtook us towards Hubballi and we departed towards Hubballi.Arrived finally at Hubballi at 21:10 hrs and planned to doze off quickly to wake up early to witness the marvellous sunrise in the Satara-Pune section,a pure diesel haven and a famous ghat section coupled up with the evergreen Bhor Ghat section until Palasdhari and the initial Mumbai Suburban lines from Karjat :D
Being a tall guy,was fed up with the upper berth of the LHB AC Coaches as the AC vents are on the top and my head banged on it again and again :p Woke up every single hour out of excitement just to check the time as I can't afford to miss the Sunrise in the Satara section :)

Once again a fantastic narration,
The special thing in this route was the gradients,
And some curves, if you were travelling in a non-ac coach you can enjoyed it.

NON AC coach might be a little difficult for some as the outside temperature will be very hot throughout this route in daytime and too cold at nights. That's why I always travel in AC coach in this route..

Yes bro, too cool at nights due to higher elevations.
But very hot from 11 to 16 , which is unexpected there
