This is a good news for me, personally. I will get a direct connection to my work destination, Guntur.
Dont think there will be change in timings of Duronto or speedup. 2015 SC GNT 0000 Vja 105/15 Vskp 630. SC BZA intercity takes 3 40 mins even Duronto will be given same time. At the max they can do 15 mins in the SC Vja if 45 mins is given in GNT Vja.If SCR wants to be aggressive in Vja DVD section with confidence that it can transfer rake to ECOR by 600 on every run they can speedup by another 15mins. The reverse timings too may not change if they want to give of 15mins slack in GNT SC to coverup any late.
More than reducing travel time, it is likely that they are trying to optimize their route utilization.
12513/14 is just a weekly train and runs just ahead of some daily trains. It will be easy to accommodate it along with Narsapur express in the same block while going towards SC and since GNT route is free between JB and Bhavnagar, they can again accommodate it on the GNT route. This is probably to shuffle around the maintenance block times on both routes.

I don't think BZA-DVD they could reduce running time, as it has 110 MPS only. Diverting via GNT also limited run 110 KMPH throughout. Coming to advancing arrival time at VSKP is almost negligible with current TT. From 11:00 PM onward path of BZA - DVD is quite busy with YP Duronto, HS, Godavari , VM weeklies all of them reaching back to back around that time.
