It's true that the present government opened state Universities in almost each and every district of Bengal but now government should take some step to increase competition among these universities so that their ranking improves. In the 2020 NIRF ranking only Jadavpur University and Culcutta University could make it to the list of top 10 Universities of India. I think government should take some steps/reforms to improve that number
