I don't think this push-pull technology will help to reduce travel time much. Very congested Asansol to Ghaziabad route. After DFC gets completed automatically speed of Premium, Superfast trains will get increased. Also there is a Ghat section between Gomoh and Gaya where speed restrictions are there. If End-to-end travel time gets reduced by 30 mins minimum to 1 hours then useful, otherwise for 10 to 20 minutes travel time reduction will take place automatically as 1st phase of DFC gets completed next year.
Poorva jaiso ke liye jyada profitable hoga. Kaafi halts hai uske so better acceleration se uske 130 mps ka better utilisation ho payega
Push Pull is Profitable only for Trains that have more Stoppages but still run at 130 KMPH..Like Poorva Purshottam Mahabodhi Exp..
MMCT Raj wasn't a success I guess with Push pull as stoppages are less and MPS is the same then it won't have much impact..
Rather it will have an impact on August Kranti Rajdhani more as it has more stoppages with Fast Speed so acceleration part will come into play..
