During my college times, whenever we were planning trips, me and my friends could think of an AC train journey only if there was any Gareeb Rath plying on the desired route. It truly lived up to its name "Gareeb Rath", which made AC train journey affordable for budget travellers. But as the years passed by, new train categories came in and no new Gareeb Rath Express trains were launched. What do you think was the reason for Gareeb Rath train concept falling behind?
