You cant skip HJP or shuffle HJP with SEE, as its main station with traffic. SEE is relevant coz of its Div Status & Coaching Depot while earlier train's stoppage was to serve Gandak single track bridge clearance, which is no more relevant!!
With Digha bridge active, SEE is relevant only with Div/Coaching Depot as PPTA serves new terminal for SEE/HJP terminating trains. SEE although big, is almost barren & road connectivity for Patna is superb from HJP.
