ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ - ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗ - ತುಮಕೂರು ನೇರ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಮಾರ್ಗ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಸಂಬಂಧ ೨೨೬ ಎಕರೆ ಭೂಮಿ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಸಂಸದ ಜಿ.ಎಂ.ಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿಂದು ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಭೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಮಾಸಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಅಗತ್ಯ ೨೨೬ ಎಕರೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ೨೬ ಎಕರೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲೂ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು
