Short Trip Report
After long time traveled in PMPML and reached station at 18:20.
Bangalore - Gandhidham with UBL WDP-4D was on PF1 and Indrayani with WAP-7 was on PF6.
My train 01019 Konark Express arrived on PF3 at 18:50. Full rake was ECoR with name plate BBS - CSMT.

Pune at 19:00 and arrived DD at 19:55 (30 mins before time) on PF5. KK was on PF3 and Daund - Gwaliar on PF6. KK departed bangbon time 20:10 then my train departed on time at 20:30.
I was little bit tensed bcoz last run of Konark was delayed by 3 hrs in this signle line section. But fortunately controller given line clear till Jeur and arrived Jeur at 21:35. Non-stop run from Daund to Jeur. UP Konark was looped at Jinti Road. You can check progress of doubling on /blog/post/4795856. After 20 mins ALCo twins came from Bhalawani side and I was not able to relate why Konark stopped for light loco.
Then Konark departed Jeur with 25 mins unscheduled halt. When it crossed Bhalawani I got the answer of light loco, guess what?
At Bhalawani, Twins WAG-7 was attaching to Oil Tanker (this section is recently commissioned for electrification). On other side Hussain Sagar Express was waiting to enter into single line section.
Jeur to Solapur non-stop run covered in 1 hr 20 mins only and reached Solapur at 23:20 (50 mins before time). Luckily SM allowed my train to enter PF. Konark arrived on PF1, Yeshwantpur - Bikaner was on PF2 and Karnataka Express was on PF5.
