Southern Railway today conducted140 Kmph High Speed trial between Chennai and Renigunta with Emergency Braking Distance test as a part of it in both up and down lines with 24 coaches LHB rake hauled by WAP7 Locomotive. Overall the trial was a failed one because it hasn't touched 140kmph...Max speed was 120kmph. Onward run from Chennai to Renigunta, Emergency Braking test was done which will be in first part of this video. Train had stopped from High speed to zero by applying Emergency brake and again started after 1 min. In return direction train skipped at a speed of 60 kmph approx under heavy Rain. This test is happened as a part of sectional MPS increase in between Chennai and Mumbai via Renigunta.

Bro the trial was failed one coz max 120 kmph only achieved but they planned for 140kmph...so we should wait and watch...!!
Its bad to see that trial failed ..
I hope govt should invest more money to upgrade these routes as we dont have any 110+ capable routes here ..
