Connecting Bhavnagar to Dahej via a new line will be very useful. Trains from Okha and Bhuj towards Mumbai/Howrah/Puri can bypass the busy ADI-BRC section via Surendranagar-Botad-Dhola-Bhavnagar-Dahej-Bharuch line. At least freights can be diverted to ease congestion(Image attached)

Valuable information sir, thanks. Never knew about the Dam thing. Yeah its price will definitely increase; we all know the fate of various projects in our country. Similar thing happened with Indore-Dahod project at my place, cost is almost 5-6 times now of initial project cost(2011 inaugurated). Now it has been shelved for indefinite time
