Can boarding point be changed for waitlisted tickets as well ( which would confirm in future ) ..

When there is no chance of confirmation(at the time of request), how can they add up that the passenger will board from a station en-route.

They don't even do it for a WL1.
Even when I have WL500.. what is the issue in updating boarding.. it is as good as any RAC/CNF ticket. If it confirms, you travel if it does not you don't travel.

I guess if the ticket is not confirmed, then they have to cancel the boarding point request submitted too. Maybe, the job has to be done twice.
I dont see a link there. While cancelling Boarding Point would have no relevance.
